Our Approach


Our method is safe, smart, kind, supportive and evidence based training derived from two decades of preparing individuals and groups for expeditions, high mountain climbing, and long distance hiking and journeys in all terrains. Any Camino pilgrimage is a major undertaking and often a life-transforming endeavor, which requires significant commitment.

Whether you’re walking 100km or 1000km, this training is designed to support your fitness - both physical and mental - for long arduous days. You’ll be travelling long distances, on mixed terrain, in unpredictable weather - and all while carrying weight. An important aspect of your pilgrimage is to build the endurance, strength, and skills to travel safely to the journey’s completion.

Given that this is first and foremost, a pilgrimage, a quest, a life affirming journey; we aim to help you with physical fitness so you don’t need to worry about this during your Camino.Our skill is matching the right type, amount, frequency, and intensity of training to you and your journey.
